Dhikala Safari Zone, nestled in the heart of Jim Corbett National Park, offers an unparalleled wildlife experience amidst vast grasslands, dense Sal forests, and the meandering Ramganga River. Access to Dhikala is through the Dhangarhi Gate, approximately 30 km from Ramnagar. The zone operates from November 15 to June 15, remaining closed during the monsoon season. Visitors can explore Dhikala via Canter Safaris, which are open-air buses accommodating up to 16 passengers. Jeep safaris are restricted to those staying overnight within the zone.
The cost for Indian nationals is ₹2,500 per person, while foreign nationals are charged ₹5,000 per person. Bookings can be made up to 45 days in advance through the official Corbett Tiger Reserve website: corbettgov.org .
For those seeking an immersive experience, Dhikala offers several Forest Rest Houses, including Dhikala, Gairal, and Sultan. These accommodations provide basic amenities and must be booked well in advance due to high demand. Night stay bookings open every Monday at 10:00 AM for reservations up to 45 days ahead .

Visitors can book online Jeep Safari or Canter Safari for Eight different zones of the park namely, Bijrani, Jhirna, Dhikala, Dhela, Phanto, Garjiya, Pawalgarh, and Durgadevi. All the procedures of Online Safari Booking at Corbett Tiger Reserve are managed by forest officials as per India’s forest department guidelines. Please note that we cannot influence the safari zone, safari driver, and the naturalist guide as it is not in our hands. It is solely decided by the forest officials. Though all the zones have a healthy population of tigers wildlife sightings are reported more or less the same. These all aspects are supervised by the automated computerized system to ensure the equal distribution of safari vehicles in respective zones.
